What is ISF?<\/h2><p>ISF stands for Importer Security Filing. This security declaration is a must for all products <a href=\"https:\/\/jingsourcing.com\/shipping-from-china-to-us-cost\/#A7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shipped by vessel<\/a> to enter the USA. Since the September 11 attacks, US <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbp.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CBP<\/a> (Customs and Border Protection) requires the ISF declaration of cargo import information throughout the whole transit process, so as to enhance cargo traceability and local security.<\/p><p>Note that ISF is a mandatory regulation only available to US Customs. And it only applies to ocean freight.
